Meet Dr. Christine Parrish
Clinician
Dr. Christine W. Parrish is Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Virginia. She completed her B.A. in Psychology, M.A. in Community Counseling, and her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from West Virginia University. She has had clinical experiences in several college counseling centers, student health, in addition to adolescent inpatient and residential hospital settings. Dr. Parrish has research interests in the areas of grief, suicide loss, and depression. The foundations of her work are based on the development of a collaborative therapeutic relationship with an appreciation for diversity. She integrates a variety of approaches including emotion-focused, CBT, interpersonal process, and psychodynamic interventions to tailor the therapeutic process to the needs of each client. Dr. Parrish works with teens and adults.
